CSHCS strives to enable individuals with special health care needs to have improved health outcomes and an enhanced quality of life through the appropriate use of the CSHCS system of care.
Hearing and Vision Screenings
Information about the free hearing and vision screenings available for pre-school and Kindergarten-aged children.
Children who have Medicaid or whose insurance does not cover vaccines are eligible for this program which provides vaccines at no cost to the family. There is a small administrative fee of .00 for VFC vaccines. A sliding fee scale is used, and no one is denied services for inability to pay the administration fee.
