Public Service Announcement:
Berrien County Community Development is seeking requests for proposal from prospective bidders for administration of the Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME,) Homeowner Assistance Program. Homeowner Assistance program is a federal and state funded program intended to assist low to moderate income homeowners with rehabilitation and repairs to their home through a loan. The loan is a 10 year, monthly payment loan for 50% of the total project cost. The remaining 50% of the funding is forgiven after the 10 year period.

Proposals must be submitted to the Berrien County Purchasing office at 701 Main St., St. Joseph, MI 49085 by 4:00 p.m., November 7, 2108.

The Berrien County Community Development Department oversees Economic Development, Planning, Solid Waste Management, Transportation and Resource Recovery. It is also the focal point for many projects that are multi-governmental.
